The degradation reactions of chlorinated polypropylene (CPP) in toluene under ultrasonic irradiation were studied. The Mark–Houwink equation acquired from fractional precipitations was also suitable for estimating the molecular weight of degraded CPP. An objective standard was proposed for judging the solution behaviour of CPP in solvents by the study on the relative solubility of CPP before and after degradation. Then Hansen three-dimensional solubility parameters and the total parameter of CPP were obtained by optimization calculation in terms of the criterion proposed here. It was proved that the total parameter of CPP is creditable by the turbidity method. Compared to other standards, the result obtained from the proposed standard accorded well with the standard of complete miscibility suggested by Flory–Huggins for polymers and solvents as well as the objective reality. Determination of Pd,Rh, Pt,Au in road dust by electrothermal vaporization inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry with slurry sampling 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry coupled with ultrasonic slurry sampling electrothermal vaporization (USS-ETV-ICP-MS) has been applied to determine Pd, Rh, Pt and Au in 0.5% m/v slurries of several road dust samples. 2% m/v ammonium pyrrolidine dithiocarbamate (APDC) was used as the modifier to enhance the ion count. The influence of instrument operating conditions, slurry preparation and interferences on the ion count was reported. This method has been applied to the determination of Pd, Rh, Pt and Au in BCR 723 Road Dust and NIST SRM 2709 San Joaquin Soil reference materials and two road dust samples collected locally. The analysis results of the standard reference materials agreed with the certified values. Precision between sample replicates was better than 10% for all the determinations. The method detection limits estimated from standard addition curves were 0.9, 0.4, 0.6 and 0.4 ng g−1 for Pd, Rh, Pt and Au, respectively, in original dust samples. 相似文献

This work describes the dielectric properties of piezoelectric poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) thin films in the frequency and temperature ranges relevant for usual applications. We measured the isothermal dielectric relaxation spectra of commercial piezoelectric PVDF thin films between 10 Hz to 10 MHz, at several temperatures from 278 K to 308 K. Measurements were made for samples in mechanically free and clamped conditions, in the direction of the poling field (perpendicular to the film). We found that the imaginary part of the dielectric relaxation spectra of free and clamped PVDF samples is dominated by a peak, above 100 kHz, that can be characterized by a Havriliak-Negami function. The characteristic time follows an Arrhenius dependence on temperature. Moreover, the spectra of the free PVDF samples show two additional peaks at low frequencies which are associated with mechanical relaxation processes. Our results are important for the characterization of piezoelectric PVDF, particularly after the stretching and poling processes in thin films, and for the design and characterization of a broad range of ultrasonic transducers. 相似文献

Gibberellins (GAs) are phytohormones essential for many developmental processes in plants. In this work, fundamental mechanism of hormone perception by receptor GID1 has been studied by performing computational simulations, revealing a new GA‐binding channel of GID1 and a novel hormone perception mechanism involving only one conformational state of GID1. The novel hormone perception mechanism demonstrated here is remarkably different from the previously proposed/speculated mechanism [Murase et al., Nature 2008 , 456, 459] involving two conformational states (“OPEN” and “CLOSED”) of GID1. According to the new perception mechanism, GA acts as a “conformational stabilizer,” rather than the previously speculated “allosteric inducer,” to induce the recognition of protein DELLA by GID1. The novel mechanistic insights obtained in this study provide a new starting point for further studies on the detailed molecular mechanisms of GID1 interacting with DELLA and various hormones and for mechanism‐based rational design of novel, potent growth regulators that target crops and ornamental plants. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 相似文献

Cd-doped Tl0.9Bi0.1Sr1.8Yb0.2Ca1−xCdxCu1.99Fe0.01O7−δ (x=0–0.4) bulk superconductor samples were prepared by solid-state reaction method, to examine the effect of Cd on ultrasonic velocity and elastic behavior of the samples. The samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction, DC electrical resistivity and temperature dependent ultrasonic velocity measurements. DC electrical resistivity measurement showed all the samples exhibit metallic normal-state behavior with the highest Tc zero observed at around 76.4 K (x=0.3). Ultrasonic velocity measurements at 80 K showed a non-linear increase in both absolute longitudinal and shear velocities as well as elastic moduli with Cd substitution with the largest increase observed for the x=0.3 sample. Temperature dependant longitudinal modulus showed elastic anomaly characterized by a step-like slope change at around 230 K for x=0 & x=0.3 and at around 250 K for x=0.4 with the x=0.3 sample showing the sharpest slope change. A comparison between experimental data and calculated lattice anharmonicity curve based on the model proposed by Lakkad, showed large deviation of the experimental longitudinal modulus curves for (x=0.3) from the calculated anharmonicity curves indicating that the elastic behavior was strongly influenced by the existence of the step-like longitudinal anomaly. On the other hand, our analysis using the Landau free energy model found that the anomalous step-like elastic behavior fitted well with the equation derived from the model for regions below and above the elastic anomaly temperature, TA. The fitting indicated that the anomaly is related to a phase transition that is suggested to involve ordering of oxygen which introduces strain in the system. 相似文献

Wind turbine blade failure is the most prominent and common type of damage occurring in operating wind turbine systems. Conventional nondestructive testing systems are not available for in situ wind turbine blades. We propose a portable long distance ultrasonic propagation imaging (LUPI) system that uses a laser beam targeting and scanning system to excite, from a long distance, acoustic emission sensors installed in the blade. An examination of the beam collimation effect using geometric parameters of a commercial 2 MW wind turbine provided Lamb wave amplitude increases of 41.5 and 23.1 dB at a distance of 40 m for symmetrical and asymmetrical modes, respectively, in a 2 mm-thick stainless steel plate. With this improvement in signal-to-noise ratio, a feasibility study of damage detection was conducted with a 5 mm-thick composite leading edge specimen. To develop a reliable damage evaluation system, the excitation/sensing technology and the associated damage visualization algorithm are equally important. Hence, our results provide a new platform based on anomalous wave propagation imaging (AWPI) methods with adjacent wave subtraction, reference wave subtraction, reference image subtraction, and the variable time window amplitude mapping method. The advantages and disadvantages of AWPI algorithms are reported in terms of reference data requirements, signal-to-noise ratios, and damage evaluation accuracy. The compactness and portability of the proposed UPI system are also important for in-field applications at wind farms. 相似文献
